Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS)

SPARCS is a proven researched-based treatment that is administered by counselors, commissions, and supervisors who have been trained in structured psychotherapy.
The Youth Service Bureau's SPARCS program provides group counseling to youth ages 11 to 17 who have experienced trauma in their lives. The 16 week sessions teach participants how to cope with anger, improve coping skills, and elicit positive change in their lives.
Referrals are accepted on an ongoing basis by individuals, parents, schools, and other entities where youth are engaged in services.
